The Virginia Board of Education will convene on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the 1st Floor Conference Room at Old City Hall (1001 E. Broad Street #115, Richmond, Virginia 23219). The meeting will be livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube channel. As is customary at the Board's regular meetings, members of the public may address the Board during the public comment portion of the meeting on any matter related to public education which includes the actions of the Board. Additionally, the Board is seeking comment and participation on regulatory changes to 8VAC20-81. The Board of Education will accept public comment in advance of the meeting through the Board of Education Comment Form. This form collects public comments for review by the members of the Board. The Board accepts comments from the public on all matters related to public education in Virginia. Comments may be submitted at any time, but will be collected and shared with Board members as part of the meeting materials for its next scheduled business meeting.
