DESCRIPTION:The Virginia Wine Board (Board) Board will be viewing the completed Docu-series funded by the fiscal year 2026 grant cycle. The Board will hear updates from various industry groups, including Virginia Wineries Association, Virginia Wine Board Marketing Office, Winemakers Research Exchange, Virginia Vineyards Association, and Virginia Cider Association. The Board will go into closed session in the afternoon to discuss award of a public contract involving the expenditure of public funds where discussion in an open session would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the public body. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes.
