The University of Virginia Board of Visitors will hold a retreat on Sunday, August 14, from 3 – 5:30 pm in the Original Ballroom of the Boar’s Head Inn. The retreat will continue on Monday, August 15, from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm in Pavilion 1 of the Boar’s Head Inn. The Boar’s Head Inn is located at 200 Ednam Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22903. The retreat meeting will have both open and closed sessions. The meeting times of the Board can only be approximate; with the best intentions of adhering to a schedule, the Board sometimes cannot anticipate changes in the length of its meetings, and the agenda is subject to change. There will also be a new member orientation session on Sunday, August 14, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm in Pavilion 1 of the Boar’s Head Inn. Members of the public interested in attending a particular session may check with either our office or the Board Office to confirm information on the schedule. There will be a designated public seating area in the meeting room. There will not be an opportunity for public comment at the retreat.
