The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors Nominating Committee will hold an electronic meeting on Wednesday, February 24, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in open session. Board members will access the meeting electronically via Zoom. The public may view a livestream of the open session videoconference at https://mssvideo.vcu.edu/BOV. There will be a fifteen minute public comment period at the beginning of the meeting. The board will receive comments only on matters pertaining to the proposed agenda items. If you would like to offer public comment at the February 24 Board of Visitors Nominating Committee meeting, you must register by providing the following information via email sent to bov@vcu.edu: name, email and phone number, VCU affiliation (e.g. student, faculty, employee, alumni, parent or member of the public), and request for reasonable accommodation. Please note in the subject line that you are registering to speak at the public comment. You may also call Chelsea Gray, board liaison, at (804) 828-9213 to register. Speakers will proceed in the order of registration and should be online at the start of the meeting at 3:00 p.m. to facilitate meeting operations. Speakers will be limited to a maximum of three minutes each. Preference will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 5 individuals to register will have the opportunity to speak during the public comment period; individuals beyond the first 5 to register may submit written comments (see below). Individuals unable to attend virtually or in-person may provide written comment via an open comment portal on the VCU BOV website to ensure an adequate opportunity for informed public comment on the proposed agenda items.
