On Thursday, September 16th at 6pm, the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Resources and the Virginia Aging Services Workgroup will hold a virtual community forum to garner input on aging services in the Commonwealth. Participation from stakeholders, providers, and consumers in this critical discussion is important to us. We encourage you to share this invitation with others. The purpose of the community forum is to advise the Aging Services Workgroup. The group is examining the elevation of aging services within the Virginia government with a focus on organizational structure and high-quality service delivery. The forum will be co-facilitated by the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Resources and ADvancing States, a national association representing the nation’s state and territorial agencies on aging and disabilities and long-term services and supports directors. The feedback collected through this structured dialogue will support the work of the Virginia Aging Services Workgroup and will serve as an opportunity for you to directly inform their report.
