Public Hearing to Gather Comments on Proposed Regulation for Capitol Square

The Department of General Services (DGS) has issued a proposed regulation for Capitol Square (adding 1VAC30-100-15 through 1VAC30-100-90; repealing 1VAC30-100-10) and is seeking public comment regarding the proposed regulation. The proposed regulation can be found on the Virginia Regulatory Town Hall website at: https://townhall.virginia.gov/L/viewstage.cfm?stageid=9237&display=documents. DGS will host a public hearing to gather comments from 10 a.m. until noon on October 12, 2021, at the DGS Office of Fleet Management Services office located at 2400 West Leigh Street Richmond, VA 23220. Limited seating is available, and access will be provided on a first-come basis. Anyone who wishes to speak at the public hearing must sign up at the event; there is no pre-registration. Sign-up begins at 9 a.m., and speakers will be called in the order in which they signed up. All speakers are limited to two minutes. All persons and bags are subject to search prior to entering the meeting room. No signage will be allowed. Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a face covering, and all participants are encouraged to do so.
