A public meeting regarding an application from Synagro Central, LLC for a permit that would authorize the land application of biosolids and water treatment plant residuals as fertilizer to 7128.5 acres of agricultural and silvicultural land at 21 sites, and in mined land reclamation activity on 128.7 acres at one site located within King and Queen County at controlled rates protective of water quality and human health. The Department of Environmental Quality will exchange information with the interested public on technical issues related to the permit application such as: site-specific information that DEQ may consider when drafting the permit; the standard content of permits; and how the public can provide comment on a draft permit.
