University of Mary Washington Commencement Ceremony

The Rector and Visitors of the University of Mary Washington will gather for a continental breakfast at 7:45 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the University’s main campus, 1301 College Avenue, Fredericksburg, Virginia, George Washington Hall, Room 303. No University business will be conducted at this event. At 9:00 a.m., the Rector and Visitors will participate in the University’s one hundred and eleventh Commencement ceremony to celebrate the Class of 2022 graduate and undergraduate degree candidates. The event will take place outdoors, rain or shine, on Ball Circle, 1301 College Avenue, Fredericksburg, Virginia. At this time, masks are optional in all outdoor spaces on UMW’s campuses. A picnic lunch will follow the Commencement ceremony at Palmieri Plaza. Tickets must be purchased in advance. These events are open to the public; however, no public comment will be taken.
