The Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia will meet, in retreat, on Sunday, August 21, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in Pavilion 1 and 2 of the Boar’s Head Resort located at 200 Ednam Drive, Charlottesville VA 22903. The Board members will then take a tour of the UVA Orthopedics Center from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. which is located at 2280 Ivy Road, Charlottesville VA 22903. A reception and dinner will be in the Arbor Patio and Outdoor Patio of the Boar’s Head Resort from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The retreat will continue on Monday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in Pavilion 1 and 2 of the Boars Head Resort. From 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. a new member orientation session will be held in the Pavilion Executive Boardroom. The retreat will be in open session. There will not be an electronic means for viewing the meeting. The meeting times are approximate, and the agenda is subject to change. There will be a designated public seating area in the meeting room.
