The Virginia State University (VSU) Board of Visitors will meet on Thursday-Friday, September 15-16, 2022 in the Gateway Dining & Events Center located on the campus at 2804 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The Board will also host its annual Recognition Dinner at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15th to recognize former board members whose terms ended June 30, 2022. A reception will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Gateway Dining & Events Center. At 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16th, the Full Board will convene at the Gateway Dining & Events Center for a board meeting, which will be available via livestream. However, there will not be an opportunity for public comment at the meeting. The public may access the Full Board meeting as follows: 1) Select the following link https://livestream.com/vsu/bov9-16 or 2) Scroll to the bottom of the VSU website homepage (www.vsu.edu) and select VSU Live Events. Viewers will then select the event titled, “September 16th Board of Visitors Full Board Meeting.” Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, VSU will provide a sign language interpreter during the livestream (IT Accessibility Laws and Policies | Section508.gov).
