The Board will meet to review and consider approval of the minutes of the last meeting. In addition, the financial statement will be reviewed and the budget for FY 2017-18 approved. The Board will also consider funding proposals for research, promotion and education projects pertaining to the Virginia flue-cured and dark-fired tobacco industry. Other business that may come before the Board will be considered. In the event this meeting has to be cancelled due to snow or inclement weather, the meeting will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017, at the same location and time. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodation in order to participate in the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date, so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation.
