Special Committee on the Nomination of a President

Members of the University of Virginia Special Committee on the Nomination of a President will be conducting an open listening session for University faculty on March 22, 2017 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Nau Hall Room 101. The meeting time for this session is approximate. Two members of the Presidential Search Committee will lead this session: • George Keith Martin (College ’75), managing partner, McGuireWoods LLP, and former rector, Board of Visitors • Pamela Sutton-Wallace, Chief Executive Officer, UVA Medical Center During the session, participants will be asked to share their thoughts about the following questions: • What are the greatest assets of the University of Virginia? • What should the top priorities of the next president be? • What are the most important personal characteristics for the next president to have in order to be successful? • What are the areas of experience you would like to see in the next president? Members of the public interested in attending the session may check with either the Office of University Communications or the Office of the Board of Visitors if you have questions.
