The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services (Board) will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. Staff will request Board approval of (i) the proposed fast-track actions to repeal 2 VAC 5-550 (Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Tolerances and Prohibitions Applicable to Sausage) and 2 VAC 5-590 (Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Tolerances and Prohibitions Applicable to Ground Beef), (ii) a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action to amend 2 VAC 5-360 (Regulations for the Enforcement of the Virginia Commercial Feed Act), and (iii) the proposed stage to amend 2 VAC 5-685 (Regulations Governing Pesticide Applicator Certification under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act) and 2 VAC 5-680 (Regulations Governing Licensing of Pesticide Businesses Operating under Authority of the Virginia Pesticide Control Act). The Board will review and consider adopting its annual electronic meeting policy. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes.
