The University of Mary Washington Board of Visitors will hold its regular meeting April 20-21, 2017. All meetings will be held in the Minor Executive Board Room at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center (JAEC), 1119 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia, unless otherwise indicated. On Thursday, April 20, breakfast will be held at 7:45 a.m., in the Rectors’ Gallery. The Board of Visitors meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. At approximately noon, Board members will attend a student leader appreciation luncheon in the Rappahannock Grand Ballroom at the JAEC. Board committee meetings will commence following lunch. A dinner meeting with the president will be held in the Rectors’ Gallery at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, April 21, breakfast will be provided at 7:30 a.m. in the Rectors’ Gallery. The Board of Visitors meeting will reconvene at 8:00 a.m. in the Minor Executive Board Room. At approximately noon, Board members will attend the PRISM Day of Silence Commemoration at Ball Circle, 1301 College Avenue, Fredericksburg, Virginia. An optional lunch for Board members will be offered immediately following the PRISM Commemoration in the University Center’s fourth floor dining center, located adjacent to Ball Circle. Board members will participate in the inaugural installation ceremony of the University’s tenth president, Dr. Troy D. Paino, at 4:15 p.m., in George Washington Hall, Dodd Auditorium. A celebration of the UMW community will follow at various locations in the University Center, including the Chandler Ballroom. No university business will be conducted at this event. These are open meetings. No public comment will be taken.
