The Advisory Board on Teacher Education and Licensure ("ABTEL") will convene on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of this meeting is to provide advisory input for the Board of Education. This meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites By Hilton Richmond Hotel, 2925 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, Virginia 23294. The meeting is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube Channel. Written public comment is always accepted and should be submitted to Alice.Bryant@doe.virginia.gov with the subject line, ABTEL Comment for September 9, 2024. All written comments received by noon Thursday, September 5, 2024, will be shared with ABTEL members in advance of the meeting. Requests to address ABTEL during the public comment portion of the meeting should be submitted to Alice.Bryant@doe.virginia.gov or (804) 750-8714. In honoring such requests, ABTEL will limit such comments to three minutes for each speaker.
