This is the first meeting of the State and Community Consensus and Planning Team for the proposed closure of Hiram W. Davis Medical Center. As mandated in state code § 37.2-316, this team will work in collaboration with DBHDS Commissioner Nelson Smith to develop a plan that identifies the services needed for closure, addresses what community infrastructure needs to be built and how we can create and enhance community services, and, importantly, supports the patients and staff of Hiram Davis throughout this process. This meeting will also have a virtual link that will be posted here closer to the meeting date.
