SCHEV New Member Orientation

In cooperation with the Governor and the Virginia Secretary of Education, the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia will host a mandatory orientation for all new members of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Boards of Visitors. Six members of the University of Virginia Board of Visitors will attend the orientation. The meetings are as follows: Tuesday, November 12, 2024 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Founder’s Inn and Conference Center Virginia Ballrooms #3 and #4 5641 Indian River Road Virginia Beach, VA 23464 and Wednesday, November 13, 2024 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Founder’s Inn and Conference Center Virginia Ballrooms #3 and #4 5641 Indian River Road Virginia Beach, VA 23464 The purpose of these meetings is to conduct an educational program for the new members of the higher education governing boards. No University of Virginia business will be conducted, and no votes will be taken. There will be no public comment taken at these meetings.
