The State and Community Consensus and Planning Team for the proposed closure of Hiram W. Davis Medical Center has scheduled three upcoming subcommittee meetings. These meetings will be virtual and open to the public with an opportunity for public comment at the beginning of each meeting. Registration is required. Supporting Patients Subcommittee- February 3, 2025, 3pm Community Services Subcommittee- February 6, 2025 2pm Supporting Staff Subcommittee- January 29, 2025 9am As mandated in state code § 37.2-316, the Planning Team will work in collaboration with DBHDS Commissioner Nelson Smith to develop a plan that identifies the services needed for closure, addresses what community infrastructure needs to be built and how we can create and enhance community services, and, importantly, supports the patients and staff of Hiram Davis throughout this process.
