The University of Virginia Board of Visitors will hold a special meeting on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Pavilion 1 and 2 at Boar’s Head Resort, 200 Ednam Drive, Charlottesville, Virginia 22903. The meeting will be held in open and closed session. The Board meeting is in-person with some members participating remotely as permitted by § 2.2-3708.3. The method by which a public body chooses to meet shall not be changed unless the public body provides a new meeting notice in accordance with the provisions of § 2.2-3707. The open sessions will be streamed live for public viewing and can be accessed at https://bov.virginia.edu/live. Staff, students, members of the media, and public are encouraged to view the meeting on the Board’s live website. Members of the public may also attend the open sessions of the meetings. Limited seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The meeting times are approximate; the Board cannot always anticipate changes in the length of its meetings. There will be no opportunity for unscheduled comments from the public at this meeting.
