CNU Board of Visitors Committee Meetings and Events

Christopher Newport University’s Board of Visitors will meet on the 2nd Floor of the Freeman Center conference wing, 1 Avenue of the Arts, Newport News, Virginia (unless otherwise specified) on Monday and Tuesday, December 8-9, 2025. The purpose of the meetings is to conduct regular business of the Board. Monday, December 8 Executive Committee will meet from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Room 201. Operations, Audit and Risk Committee will meet from 2:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Room 201. Advancement and Athletics Committees will meet simultaneously from 3:05 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Rooms 201 and 202. Academic Affairs and Student Life Committees will meet simultaneously from 4:05 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Rooms 201 and 202. The Board of Visitors will hold a reception and dinner at 5:30 p.m. at the Luter Atrium – no official business will be conducted at either of these events.
