The Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB) Board of Visitors

The Board of Visitors of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind will meet on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to conduct a regular meeting. This meeting will take place in the Chapel on the VSDB campus and will be open to the public. During the meeting, the Board will convene in closed session(s) in accordance with Virginia Code §§ 2.2-3711 (A)(1) and 2.2-3705.2 (4) (14.B). Public comment will be accepted at the end of the regular meeting. Those wishing to provide public comment should submit a request in writing or via email to BOV@vsdb.k12.va.us and provide the topic that they would like to address. Each speaker will be allotted three minutes to speak to discuss items that are listed on the meeting agenda, at the discretion of the Chair. Public comment requests must be submitted by 5:00 PM on the day prior to the Board meeting. A copy of the Board’s meeting materials, including the agenda, will be posted to the VSDB website a week prior to the meeting. Please contact (540)332-9000 for more information.
