This virtual meeting is being held for the consideration and approval of a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action for the Heat Illness Prevention Standard pursuant to Code of Virginia 40.1-44.2 passed by the 2026 Virginia General Assembly directing the Board to "adopt regulations establishing standards designed to protect workers from heat illness during indoor and outdoor work."
