Board of Visitors Meetings September 10-11, 2026 The Virginia State University (VSU) Board of Visitors will meet Thursday-Friday, September 10-11, 2026, in the Gateway Dining & Events Center located on the campus at 2804 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The meeting times of the committees and full board are approximate; the Board cannot always anticipate changes in the length of its meetings. The committee meetings are open to the public and will not be livestreamed. Public comment will not be permitted. Thursday, September 10, 2026 • 9:00 a.m. Academic and Student Affairs Committee • 11:15 a.m. Facilities and Finance Committee • 1:30 p.m. Institutional Advancement Committee • 2:45 p.m. Audit and Compliance Committee • 3:30 p.m. Personnel, Compensation and Governance Committee • 4:15 p.m. Executive Committee At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10th, the Virginia State University Board of Visitors will have its Annual Recognition Dinner, a distinguished evening dedicated to celebrating and honoring former board members whose contributions exemplify Service, Leadership, and Legacy. The dinner will be held in the Alfred W. Harris Academic Commons Building (First Floor), Virginia State University. Friday, September 11, 2026 • 9:00 a.m. - Full Board The Full Board will convene at the Gateway Dining Events Center, and the meeting will be available via live stream. There will not be an opportunity for public comment at the meeting.
