The University of Mary Washington Board of Visitors will hold a regular meeting September 14-15, 2017. All meetings will be held at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center (JAEC), 1119 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia unless otherwise indicated. On Thursday, September 14, at 10:00 a.m., the Administration, Advancement, Finance and Facilities Committee and Academic and Student Affairs Committee will meet concurrently to discuss committee goals for the academic year. An optional lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. in the Rectors’ Gallery at JAEC. The Audit Committee will meet at 12:00 p.m. in the Kalnen Dining Room to discuss committee goals. The Board of Visitors meeting will commence at 1:30 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., a dinner meeting will be held at the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library located at 908 Charles Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia. On Friday, September 15, Board members will have breakfast beginning at 7:15 a.m. in the Rectors’ Gallery. The Diversity Ad Hoc Committee will meet to discuss committee goals at 7:30 a.m. in the Minor Executive Board Room. Board committee meetings will continue at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be held at approximately 12:00 noon in the Rectors’ Gallery. A faculty reception is scheduled on the lawn at Brompton at 5:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the faculty reception will be cancelled, and Board members and their guests will dine inside. No University business will be conducted at this event. Board Members are invited to attend Family Weekend events on campus throughout the weekend. No University business will be conducted. These are open meetings. No public comment will be taken.
