Virginia Secretary of Natural and Historic Resources - Water Quality Improvement Fund Working Group

The Virginia State budget adopted in 2025 directs the Secretary of Natural and Historic Resources to convene a working group to study the requirements for and historical implementation of WQIF. This meeting of the workgroup will discuss updating terminology and streamlining the fund, DEQ's current funding needs assessment, proposed topics for additional research and subsequent discussion at future meetings, and setting future meeting dates. An agenda is attached.
